Founded in 2021 by Honey Mittal and Sohaib Muhammad, it is backed by around $7.5M from investors including Accel and Northstar Ventures.
About Locofy.ai
Locofy's flagship, Locofy Lightning, is a one-click Figma plugin powered by the company's proprietary Large Design Models. It converts designs into responsive, component-based frontend code and, by the founders' account, automates close to 80% of front-end development, a Product Hunt debut that swept all seven awards on offer.
The product targets the hardest part of turning design into software: preserving layout intent, responsiveness and reusable component structure as a static design becomes working code.
Our role
Hello World Technologies was an embedded engineering partner on Locofy for three and a half years (2022 to 2025, remote from Singapore), helping build the platform's core design-to-code engines, developer tooling and architecture across multiple flagship releases.

Converting arbitrary design files into clean, usable code is a deep engineering challenge. The output has to respect layout intent, responsiveness and reusable component structure across multiple frameworks, not just reproduce pixels.
Locofy also needed to move fast and scale: ship flagship engines on tight timelines, give developers tooling to integrate generated code into real projects, and support enterprise teams working across thousands of files in a single codebase.

Working inside Locofy's core engineering team, Hello World Technologies delivered several of the platform's flagship capabilities, extending design-to-code beyond web, building the developer tooling around it, and re-architecting the system for enterprise scale.
